Geothermal Facts – Top 3:

· Natural Resources Canada ( NRCan) and the US Environmental Protection Agency state that geothermal is the most energy-efficient, environmentally clean, and cost-effective space conditioning system available on the market today. Even with Saskatchewan’s electricity production primarily generated from coal, geothermal systems still remove GHG emissions at an average of 2 tons annually per system.

· Geothermal systems outperform the most efficient Natural Gas/AC technology, by an average of 30% in the heating mode and 45% in the cooling mode. Energy savings with Geothermal typically are 75% less than other fuels such as oil fuel, propane, or electric heating.
